Here at the Center for Sacred Window Studies, we share voices from many perspectives and backgrounds. We believe that the sacred weeks post birth, and the experience of humanity is experienced in countless ways. We learn by listening to one another and honoring our stories. The views and opinions of our writers do not necessarily reflect the mission, viewpoints or opinions of the Center for Sacred Window Studies.

A Conversation with Maranda Bower.

Maranda Bower knows about battling postpartum depression.  From her core.  She has lived it, and is now a powerfully driven and inspirationally gracious mother to 4 children.

Maranda has worked with postpartum mothers for over a decade, and founded her business, Serenity Grows, as a platform to raise awareness about the need for support

and cultural change during this important time.  Maranda describes herself as a Postpartum Bliss Coach and she has shared her message world wide as an author and speaker.  She lives in Alaska and works from an office in her garden.

Her program and her books are from the heart.  They are incredibly supportive and transformational for expecting and new parents to claim serenity and growth from this singular time in life.  She’s awesome.

We could have talked for hours, but in this interview we dove into: Common misconceptions about postpartum, Community during the Sacred Window, Depression and Anxiety, Inspiring and transformational moments, Clashes between culture and postpartum needs, and so much more…

Listen to what Maranda has to say about the Sacred Window!
