"When a postpartum mother processes her birth story while it's fresh, she will discover strength, power and courage, and possibly even self-love and compassion, where she once felt judgment toward herself for a choice she made during her birth. She will shift into a place of power and wisdom and this will inform how she sees herself as a mother."  --Shelley Rahim
