This traditional Mexican rebozo is woven with a natural cotton base in an unbleached tone, combined with acrylic yarn and luminous artisela threads incorporated into its decorative design.

Its 2.5 m length makes it a versatile choice for doulas, midwives, birth workers and mothers during pregnancy, labor and postpartum care. It can be used for rebozo massage, gentle sifting and movement during labor, postpartum belly binding and traditional closing-the-bones practices.

The combination of acrylic yarn and artisela details adds color, texture and a subtle sheen to the woven pattern, while the cotton base preserves the traditional look and feel of the rebozo.

Each piece is woven in Mexico on a traditional pedal loom and finished with hand-knotted macramé fringe.

Shipping Policy

Order will be prepared and ready to ship in 4-5 working days.

We typically use regular postal service to ship our orders (correos de Mexico / USPS) this service is a little bit slow, but it is safe and it will get to you, unfortunetly this service does not provide a day to day tracking information, or an estimated date to arrive. In the postal service web page we can only get information  from:

  • date it is left in postal service office,
  • date when it enter mexican customs,
  • date when it left Mexico,
  • dates when it gets in different USA locations before delivery.

Regular transit time is about 3 week to USA/ Canada, it could be less or more (specially in hollyday seasson)

Once left in the post office, you will receive a shipping confirmation  with a tracking number that you can check in www.correosdemexico.gob.mx (its in spanish, sorry, but I can sure help with the translation)

Once the order is left in the post office, it is OUT of my control, I can't  get any other infprmation on delivery than the one shown in the page, make  delivery faster, stop it or change delivery address.

If you need rush delivery, I also offer FEDEX  service please let me know  so we can fix the payment. Cost for 1 or 2 pieces by fedex to USA is 30 usd, and will arrive within 3-5 days (customs delays may occur and also import duties (we are not responsable for that).

Refund Policy

We can only make a refund in this cases (through paypal):

  • Rebozo arrived damaged (torned, wet).
  • Rebozo did not arrived after 3 months  (in regular conditions, this does not apply if there is a strike in your countr'y customs, natural disasters, pandemics, etc).
  • Rebozo did not arrived to  destiny and it was returned to me by postal service ( I will only refund item cost, not shipping).

We can NOT make a refund if rebozo arrived after date needed (for birth date) because as previosuly mentioned transit time is out of our control an we always can fedex it.

If delivery address was wrong.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

  • Order cancelations are accepted BEFORE parcel has been left in postal service office (we typically ship on tuesdays and fridays) and we have a tracking number. If you dont want the rebozo anymore after it has been left in postal office, we would need to wait for it to arrive to you, and you must unaccept it from USPS so it is returned to me, and once I have it back, I can make you a refund if it arrives in optimal conditions.
  • Returns are accepted (within 2 days after receivig) but we can not cover any shipping cost, refund will be made after receiving the item in optimal conditions.
  • Exchange (within 2 days after receivig) are accepted  but we can not cover any shipping cost.
